About Laurel Hightower

 Laurel Hightower is a bourbon-loving native of Lexington, Kentucky, where she lives with her son and rescue pitbull, Ruby Dooby Doo. A fan of horror movies and true-life ghost stories, she is the Bram Stoker Award-nominated author of BELOW, WHISPERS IN THE DARK, CROSSROADS, EVERY  WOMAN KNOWS THIS, SILENT KEY, SPIRIT COVEN, THE DAY OF THE DOOR,  THE  FAWN, and THE LONG LOW WHISTLE.
